Domain Registration via DENICdirect
You wish your .de domains to be administered by our DENICdirect service? Below you find all the information you need to place your registration request. Domains registered via DENICdirect are governed by the DENIC Domain Terms and Conditions and the Domain Guidelines; the up-to-date DENIC Price List applies.
Any domain under the country code .de is unique and can exist only once. You can use our domain lookup service to find out if the domain you would like to have is still available.
Please note: Domain administration via DENICdirect does neither include any additional Internet services nor any web space. To be able to use your domain, that is to create a homepage, receive and send e-mails etc., you must either have the necessary technical infrastructure yourself or you will have to rely on the assistance of an Internet service provider. For this reason, we recommend you to have your domain registered via one of our members.
To make registration easier for you, we offer two form-based procedures for entering the data and transferring the registration request to us. Please note that this is not yet the official registration of the domain. The domain of your choice can be registered by any third party until your request has been processed. Once we have received your request, we will first check that it is complete. If all information needed is on hand, we will register the domain. After successful registration, we will send you an invoice for registering the domain, which will include domain administration by DENICdirect and one year of domain connectivity at the rates of the currently valid DENIC Price List.
